Our customer called us about problems they were having with their HVAC unit. We installed a new 3 ton Trane package heat pump. The unit was installed with a new elbow and transition, stand, disconnect, whip, surge protector, and all duct work was sealed from the roof to the unit. We also installed a Nexia 824 thermostat. After a complete start up and QCA check, our customer was able to enjoy perfect temperatures in their home. Due to the cost of repairs, the age of the system, and overall reliability, the customer decided to go with a replacement. The very next day, we used a crane to install the new Trane Foundation 5 Ton Strait Cool 480 V Three Phase Package Heat Pump on the customer’s roof. We added new curb tape and new fuses before sealing all the connections thoroughly. Finally, we made sure the system booted up correctly and worked properly for the customer. This customer called us because the fan in her Air Conditioning unit was not working. We installed a 3-ton 18 SEER variable speed Trane Heat Pump. The unit was installed with a full-length pan, new supply, and return boxes. Replaced the existing grill with a new one. The customer also got a new Nexia thermostat. New disconnect with whip and surge protector were installed. We moved the air scrubber over to a new unit. The technicians at John’s Heating, Cooling, and Plumbing were called out for a demand service repair service. Upon arriving, the technicians learned that the customer has had multiple repairs on their system over the years, as it was 19 years old. Due to the cost of repairs, the age of the system, and the overall reliability, it was highly recommended to replace the system, the customer agreed, and a replacement consultation was completed in the same day.
